Designed to connect modern residences with the Fort Greene community, 300 Ashland is centrally located at a unique triangular intersection in the heart of the Brooklyn Cultural District. The dynamic 379-unit luxury building designed by Enrique Norten will also be home to 4 BAM Cinema theaters and a branch of the Brooklyn Public Library.

Residents enjoy a full 29th floor club house level entirely dedicated to resident amenities. The amenity suite features a resident lounge, fitness center and a green rooftop terrace with a sundeck, pergola and outdoor seating. Designed by James Corner Field Ops., the designers of The High Line, this rooftop was constructed, installed and continuously maintained by Blondies Treehouse Inc.

Large custom corten steel planting beds are planted with a mix of grasses and perennials and work to divide the rooftop into different areas of use including; a sundeck, a dining pergola and casual seating. A large wooden table is situated underneath an oversized pergola of steel and ipe which not only provides sun cover and privacy but also conceals the rooftop’s utilities. A seasonal rotation of flowering plants is rotated throughout the year and provides added detail and color. Lighting is a major element of the design and can be found built into the custom ipe benches, imbedded within the ipe stairs which also serve as stadium seating as well as the textured steel pergola.

From the public plaza at street level, all the way up to the vast green rooftop, 300 Ashland offers an unconventional yet completely welcoming destination for modern living in Brooklyn.
